About Law Centres

Law Centres are not-for-profit entities which can provide independent legal advice and representation to those who are in need of it, but cannot afford it. There are 55 operating across the country, each with their own volunteering solicitors, run by the Law Centres Federation (LCF).

The LCF fights to ensure that everyone has equal rights and equal protection by the law – as such, they place a significant emphasis on battling inequality and discrimination. If you are in a disadvantaged position or you are being discriminated against, there is a very good chance that your nearest law centre would be able to help you.
